What is drain relining ?

This is the process of inserting a sleeve inside an existing pipe and then takes the shape of the old pipe work repairing cracks or any other type of damage.

Who can carry our drain relining ?

This is a highly specialised job and we have been doing it since the very beginning, we have had to repair other contractors work because of their lack of experience in this field and its vital you use a contractor that knows what they are doing as if it goes wrong your whole drainage system will have to be dug up to fix it and imagine if the pipe work runs underneath your house.

What is the cost of drain relining ?

The cost is not standard as there are factors that can effect the cost like the diameter of the pipe, the length of the pipe to be repaired, is it a blind access ? is it from manhole to manhole ? is there laterals to cut out ? that is why a CCTV survey is don't to determine all the above to give an accurate quote.

Can my pipes be relined ?

Normally yes as long as its not so badly damaged that it requires digging up to replace

What types of pipes can be relined ?

Concrete pipes can be relined so can plastic pipes as well as pitch fibre in fact as long as the pipe work can be accessed practically all types pipe work can be relined.

Is drain relining dangerous ?

There are fumes off the liner as the chemicals start to cure that are used inside the polyester liner but these fumes dissipate within a few hours and have no lasting effects.

What is more concerning is if contractors don't know what they are doing as they can cause major damage to your property as if the drain relined starts to cure inside the pipe work and is not inserted correctly then the whole system would have to be dug up first to remove the cured liner and secondly to repair the initial problem.
